138th Fighter Wing Commander Call - June 2014

TULSA, Okla. - Airmen from the 138th Fighter Wing, participated in a 4 day Unit Training Assembly at the Tulsa Air National Guard base, June 5-8, 2014.

The extended UTA, called "Super Drill", focused on satisfying annual ancillary training and medical requirements.

The final day of training was capped off with a Commander's Call, which was attended by former Director of the Air National Guard, Lieutenant General Harry M. (Bud) Wyatt III (Ret.) and Oklahoma Assistant Adjutant General Air, Brigadier General Greg Ferguson.

Colonel David B. Burgy, 138th FW Commander, received the Legion of Merit medal, presented by Brig. Gen Greg Ferguson. Burgy presented Senior Master Sergeant Amanda Lonsdale, First Sergeant John Mackey and Master Sergeant Timothy Gonzales Achievement Medals for their past work as Family Assistance Officers.

Immediately after Commanders Call, the Senior Non-Commissioned Officers Council hosted members of the 138th FW for a cookout and fun fund raising activities.
